God’s Character in the Redemption
Redemption is more than an event. It is the process that unveils who the father (God) has always been. It the process that reveals the real identity and the nature of the father the prophet could not clearly communicate but only God himself can unveil as Christ.
Hebrews 1:1-3 KJV
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Until Christ no one has seen God as the loving father.
John 1: 18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (KJV)
John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. (KJV)
Until he died, resurrected even his disciples could not grasp the reality of God as the one that loves sinner to the point of dying for their sin. Until the Holy Spirit descended to abide in believer, the reality of the father loving us to make us sons by the indwelling of the Holy Ghost was not understood. The redemption has taken place, it is expected of us to see and present God in his real identity and nature as the loving father, the one that freely gives forgiveness of sin and sonship, the one that will not condemn, the one that will not withhold any goodness from man. Redemption is not outside the nature, it is the nature of the father in action.
Romans 8:30-39 (KJV)
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
